Hyalogryllacris Karny, 1937

Comments: Xiphogryllacris Karny, 1937 n. syn. is synonymized under Hyalogryllacris . The holotype of the only species of Xiphogryllacris, does not have any difference that separates it as a different genus from Hyalogryllacris . According to Karny (1937), the main difference between both genera is the location of the Rs + M, veins, which is an insufficient character for generic delimitation. Therefore, the only species described under the new synonymized genus is transferred to Hyalogryllacris: H. orthoxipha (Karny, 1929) n. comb.
