Sternotrigon Skopin, 1973: 109 .

Type species: Trigonoscelis setosa Bates, 1879 .

Diagnosis. This genus can be easily distinguished from other Pimeliini genera by the even, small elytral granules. In cross section, the meso- and metatibiae are slightly rounded or broadly oval, sometimes slightly square, but not compressed; the apex of each protibial outer margin exhibits an obvious keel. Elytral tubercles are entirely lacking, with obviously flat ribs. The prosternal process is often distinctly protruding posteriorly and mostly not curving. Meso- and metatarsi with elongate, sparse setae; those on inner margins as long as on outer margins.
