Cicadulina China, 1926: 43 . Type species: Cicadulina zeae China, 1926 .

Diagnosis. Small, pale to golden yellow. Crown with pair of brown or black spots. Head as broad as pronotum, longer medially than next to eyes, width twice or less between eyes as long. Face shagreen, wider than long; ocelli near eyes and marginal. Pronotum with carina absent. Scutellum shagreen. Forewing with three apical and two anteapical cells. Hind wing with three apical cells.

Male genitalia. Pygofer with well-developed dorsal process, rarely with macrosetae subventrally. Subgenital plate with uniseriate macrosetae at ventrolateral margin. Valve triangular. Style with robust apical process. Connective Y-shaped with arms close together. Aedeagus with shaft cylindrical and C-shaped, curved dorsally, gonopore apical on posterior surface.

Female genitalia. Apex of ovipositor generally dark in colour compared to pale basal part.
