Puliciphora pauxilla (Borgmeier), comb. nov.

Pulicimyia pauxilla Borgmeier, 1960: 339 .

In the key to Neotropical Puliciphora females (Disney, 2003a) this species will readily run to couplet 27, lead 2 to P. imbecilla, as does the new species P. jacquemart i (see above), and is then best distinguished by its possession of small wing rudiments (similar to Fig. 23) and T6 being represented by its anterior apodemes only.
