Synoza Enderlein

Diagnosis: Antenna hirsute (Figs 17, 62), about 4 times head width; terminal setae subequal and pointed; genae lacking processes. Forewing truncated at apex; costal break indicated by weakening of sclerotisation of C+Sc; veins bearing long setae; basal 2/3 of vein M completely fused with Rs. R1 and Cu1 branching at the same point; M+Cu1 absent (Fig. 51). Meracanthus small, pointed and curved; metatibia without genual spine, apical spurs arranged in an open crown; metabasitarsus with two spurs. Male proctiger unipartite.
