INDIA: Goa, Dharbandora, Mollem National Park, 31 November 2019, 1 female, yellow pan trap, coll . Sandesh Gawas .

Description

Female, length of the body 5.6 mm.

Colour. Body black with following yellow: tegulae, the apex of fore and mid tibia, all tarsi, the apex of the hind femur, hind tibia dorsally and laterally except basal region.

Head. Wider than high. Clava less than twice the length of F7. Preorbital carina absent and postorbital carina present. POL 3× OOL. Head compressed laterally.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate. Scutellum weakly bilobed apically with dense silvery pubescence. Fore wing with post-marginal vein shorter than marginal vein and longer than stigmal vein.

Metasoma. Sessile, T1 smooth and shiny. T2 with large pits in the basal region. Pubescence in basal and lateral region. Ovipositor sheath visible in dorsal view.

Distribution

INDIA. Assam, Goa (new record), Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu (Emiliyamma 2016; Gowriprakash et al. 2016; Gowriprakash 2019).
