Description

Female, length of the body 4–4.2 mm.

Colour. Body black with following parts reddish or brownish: scape, pedicel, F1, tegulae, fore and mid-leg except for coxae, hind femur at base and apex, hind tibia dorsally, hind tarsi. Fore wing with two dark brown infuscations.

Head. Wider than high in frontal view. Scrobe deep, striate and reaching anterior ocellus. Antennae long and slender. POL 6× OOL.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate with interstices narrower than puncture diameters. The apex of scutellum emarginate and bilobed. Post-marginal vein equal to the marginal vein. Hind coxa with a dorsal tooth.

Metasoma. Metasoma longer than mesosoma. T1 smooth and shiny with a pair of short carinae, carinae as long as the distance between them.

Distribution

Goa (new record), Kerala, Tamil Nadu (Sheela et al. 2003; Stanley et al. 2009; Emiliyamma 2016).
