Diagnosis

Male genitalia: Uncus and gnathos simple, without armature. Tegumen with dorsal sclerotized thickening rectangular, X­shaped, or triangular. Subteguminal process speciesspecific in shape, plate­like, spine­like, lobe­like, or tubercle­like. Valva simple, more­orless rectangular, with few differences. Juxta simple, plate­like. Coremata present. Saccus usually rounded. Manica lined with minute spines, some species with two groups of spines. Aedeagus usually elongate, often with variously shaped cornuti, mostly spine­like. Female genitalia: Ostium bursae usually broad, lined with minute spines; ductus bursae sclerotized in some species; corpus bursae more­or­less rounded, often densely lined with minute spines.
