Diagnosis. Prothorax with prominent lateral tubercle placed centrally or a little beyond; pronotum with tubercles; mesoventral process at most as wide as half of width of a mesocoxa; elytra without centrobasal crest or lateral carina. Number of species currently included: 16; in Mexico and Central America: 4.
