Type species— Leptostylus yuccivorous Fall, 1907 (original designation).

Diagnosis. Prothorax with lateral tubercles rounded; elytral surface smooth, with three feebly elevated carinae, somewhat densely pubescent; elytral apex rounded. Number of species currently included: 1 in Mexico.
