Type species — Antecrurisa picta Gilmour, 1960 (original designation) [= Oedopeza apicalis Bates, 1864].

Diagnosis. Elytra with erect setae; antennae two times length of the body; sides of prothorax with robust median conical tubercle; elytra without centrobasal crest or carinae; metatarsomere I twice as long as two following together; ovipositor projected beyond the elytral apex. Number of species currently included: 1, present in Mexico and Central America .
