Diagnosis. Males of A. perlata can be distinguished from those of A. velaris by the genital segments shorter than the pregenital part of the abdomen (Fig. 34), whereas A. velaris have the genital segments as long as or longer than the pregenital part of the abdomen (Fig. 35).
Discussion. Amemboa perlata has been recorded from India, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam (Polhemus & Andersen 1984, Zettel et al. 2007). In Thailand, this species has been collected from Phrae, Phetchabun, and Saraburi provinces (Polhemus & Andersen 1984, Zettel & Chen 1997). In this study, this species was collected only from rock pools in Phitsanulok Province and it did not occur synoptically with any congeners where it was collected.
