Diagnosis: A subspecies of Cypridea quadrilateralis with two inflations in the area of the dorsal side on each valve.

Holotype: Carapace, T.-K.-Nr. 3171.

Dimensions: (greatest) length 0.99mm, height 0.45mm, width 0.53mm.

Remarks (Bate et al. herein): Wicher’s figure, a drawing x30, shows dimensions larger than those he published (above), as is the case with some other species noted below.
