Diagnosis: A subspecies of Cypridea quadrilateralis which is inflated in the centre.

Holotype: Carapace, T.-K.-Nr. 3172.

Dimensions: (greatest) length 1.36mm, height 0.66mm, width 0.76mm.

Remarks (Bate et al. herein): Wicher’s figure, a drawing x30, shows dimensions larger than those he published (above), as is the case with some other species noted below.
