Cypridea tucanoensis Krömmelbein, 1965

1965a Cypridea tucanoensis n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 180–181, pl. 11, fig. 2.

Diagnosis: A Cypridea species from the group opifera Krömmelbein 1962 with the following peculiarities: carapace more or less medium-sized. Dorsum of the left valve weakly raised up like a crest. Ventral margin of the left valve strongly convex, clearly overlapping the right valve. Valve end of the left valve is positioned concavely against the ventral margin [of the right valve?] and extending like a broad tongue. Both valves with a flat node-like swelling in a more or less postero/dorso-median position. Carapace surface with irregular pore dimples, particularly in the central valve area.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5338.

Paratypes: 2 carapaces, SMF Xe 5339 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.94mm, height 0.64mm.
