1965a Petrobrasia signum n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 195, pl. 14, fig. 17.

Diagnosis: In its carapace shape (lateral outline), corresponding closely to Petrobrasia marfinensis (Krömmelbein, 1962); however it is wider in dorsal view, with a symmetrically biconvex lengthways arching. Shell surface smooth as far as postero-ventral area, where some only weakly defined ridges appear.

Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5363.

Paratype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5364 .

Dimensions: Holotype, length 0.81mm, height 0.47mm. Topotype, SMF Xe 7806, length 0.82mm, height 0.51mm, width 0.31mm.
