Diagnosis. General color shiny black. Head (except fuscous clypeus), pronotum, base of hemelytra, mesoscutum, propleuron reddish orange. Underside of head, apices of coxae, trochanters, and bases of femora yellow. Membrane pale at apex and around veins. Some specimens with a black spot on pronotum. Length 4.20–4.75 mm.
Host. Thevetia sp. [ Apocynaceae] (Ferreira et al., 2001).
Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo) (Distant, 1988; Carvalho, 1957).
