Genus Bothrophorella Reuter

Bothrophorella Reuter, 1907: 40 . Type species: Eccritotarsus nigra Stål, 1860 . Monotypic.

Diagnosis. Overall shiny black and glabrous. Head elongate, clypeus acutely projecting. Anterior lobe of pronotum narrowed; posterior lobe two or more times wider across humeral angles; hemelytra subparallel, widening slightly posteriorly. Cuneus fracture deeply incised.
