Cyrtocapsus femoralis Reuter, 1892: 394 (orig. descrip.); Henry and Carvalho, 1987: 290 (key).
Diagnosis. General color black. Anterocular part of head, as seen from frontal view, about as long as or shorter than ocular area. First and second antennal segments whitish; second antennal segment longer than first. Pronotum predominantly black. All coxae whitish; femora and tibiae whitish or pale yellow. Embolium black. Length 2.70– 3.45 mm.
Host. Unknown.
Distribution. French Guiana, Venezuela (Carvalho, 1957); Brazil (Minas Gerais) (Ferreira et al., 2006).
Minas Gerais specimens examined. 1 Ψ, Viçosa, 18 May 1980, P. S. Fiuza Ferreira (UFVB).
