Diagnosis. Elongate species, more than two times longer than wide. Pronotum slightly narrowed at base of calli. Scutellum smooth, not hidden by posterior margin of pronotum. Male genitalia with the right paramere bifurcate. Carvalho and Schaffner (1987) provided a checklist and key to the species of Eccritotarsus .
