Material examined: 6♂♂, 11♀♀ (five brooding), Station S5, 04°42′26.5"N 114°26′02"E, 11.5 m depth, sand; March 2009. 1♂, Station S17, 04°41′13"N 114°27′23"E, 6.5 m depth, sand; March 2009. 11♂♂, 12♀♀, 1 juvenile, Station S18, 04°41′30"N 114°27′13.5"E, 7.5 m depth, sand; March 2009.

Remarks. Previously known only from the type-series from these same waters in depths of 0 to 8 m (Bamber et al., 2012), these records confirm (and extend) its shallow-water habitat: it was not taken at any sites deeper than 12 m. The sex-ratio was not significantly different from 1:1.
