* Clinocentrus excubitor (Haliday, 1836)

Material examined. Mazandaran province: Noor, Chamestan, Joorband (36°26′17.28″ N, 52°07′16.62″ E, 272 m a. s. l.), 28.vi.2011, 1♀; leg. A. Mohammadi.

Diagnostic characters (female). Body length 5.5 mm; antenna with 33 segments; face 1.2 × wider than its height (as long as height of face and clypeus combined), hypoclypeal depression 2.1 × its distance from compound eye (Fig. 14 A); ocelli large, postocellar line and ocular-ocellar line as long as ocellar diameter (Fig. 14 B), length of compound eye 2.4 × longer than temple in dorsal view (Fig. 14 B); vein 3-SR of fore wing 2.0 × longer than vein r (Fig. 14 C); first and second metasomal tergites densely striae, third tergite with curved striae, distal third with transverse striae, ovipositor sheath 1.1 × longer than first-third metasomal tergites.

Coloration. Body yellowish (Fig. 14 D), antenna yellowish, head yellowish except frons, stemmaticum, vertex and medial of face black, mesoscutum, scutellum and lower part of mesopleuron yellowish, legs yellowish; metasoma yellowish, except first, second and third metasomal tergites black (Fig. 14 D).

General distribution. Oriental, eastern and western Palaearctic.

Distribution in Iran. Mazandaran province (current study). New record for Iran.
