Platyblemmus gogorzai Bolivar, 1912: 44, from the female of Platyblemmus luctuosos [sic] Gogorza, 1881. Type locality: Algeria, Akbou Taril Ali.

Distribution: Species known from the type locality only.

Biogeographic zone: Tellian Atlas.

Bioclimatic zone: Subhumid.
