Type locality: Italy, Goritia.
Distribution: Europe, from Portugal, France and Belgium, up to Poland, the South-East of Russia and Caucasus; species doubtful in Southwest Asia and in North Africa, where it might have been confused with O. dulcisonans Gorochov, 1993 (Gorochov and Llorente 2001) .
