Camptopoeum altaicum Morawitz, 1891: 142, ♀, ♂.

Type locality: Besterek, East Kazakhstan Province (Kazakhstan).

Published (original) locality: “ Altai bei Bisterek”.

Paralectotypes: 2 ♀, 3 ♂, the same label as in the lectotype .

Current status. Camptopoeum (Camptopoeum) frontale (Farbicius, 1804) (synonymised by Warncke 1987: 82).

Distribution. Europe, Russia (European part), Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan (Proshchalykin et al. 2017).
