Current status. Camptopoeum rufiventre Morawitz, 1880, syn. nov.

Remarks. According to the material studied in the ZISP, Camptopoeum rufiventre Morawitz, 1880 shows geographical variation: female specimens from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan differ from those from Turkmenistan by a more developed yellow body colouration and sparser punctuation of the mesoscutum; differences in males are not obvious and we found no differences in the structure of the genitalia, but the yellow colouration is also more developed in Kazakhstan / Azerbaijan specimens. Popov (1936) described the female of Camptopoeum rufiventre from Turkmenistan (Ashgabad) and C. rufiventre f. flavovaria from Kazakhstan. However, the holotype (male) of C. rufiventre is more suitable for the female types of C. rufiventre f. flavovaria than the darker female described by Popov as nominative.
