Psorodonotus davisi Karabag 1956: 16 .

Type specimen information. Holotype, paratypes, Turkey, Rize, İkizdere, Cimil (NHM) (see below).

Material examined. See Table 1. Additionally: TURKEY: 1M (holotype), Pontic Taurus, Rize –Ikizdere, Toros Dagları above Cimil, 2300–2500 m, 27.8.1952 (T.Karabağ) (NHM); 2M, 2F (paratypes), Rize, Ikizdere, Cimil-Başköy, 1800–2000 m, 29.8.1956 (T.Karabağ) (NHM); 5M, 3F (2 of F nymphs), 85 km South of Rize, Sivrikaya, 19– 20.8.1959 (leg. K.M.Guichard) (NHM).

Distribution. Restricted to the mountains of the Rize Province of Turkey in the Black Sea Basin. This species occurs parapatrically with P. soganli in some localities. However, both species have never been located at the same place. P. da v i s i occurs at higher altitudes than P. soganli . Also, there seems to be a temporal difference in the seasonal activity of these taxa, as P. soganli becomes adult and sexually active earlier than P. d av i s i.
