Type material. Agrilus bispinosus Carter, 1924 . Described from a single specimen (holotype by monotypy). Type locality: “ Queensland: S. Johnstone River”. Type specimens: The type deposited in AMS was not studied. Distribution. Australia (Queensland).

Remarks. The taxonomic concept of Agrilus bispinosus used in this study was judged from the image of specimen (Fig. 2A) from the type locality and compared with the type by Agrilus expert Gianfranco Curletti.
