Cerceris sp. luxuriosa Dahlbom, 1845 or rubida (Jurine, 1807) (??)

Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates (Hamer 1986, 1988).

Extralimital distributions: C. luxuriosa – Egypt, Iraq, Libya and Sudan; C. rubida – widespread in central to southern Palaearctic from France to Russian Far East and Spain to Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan.

Remarks: Since specific identifications were proposed, which do not appear elsewhere in this list and either of which could be correct, this record is included in the counts.
