Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman (Guichard 1980 as Tachytes aegyptiacus Pulawski, 1962; Roche 2007).

Extralimital distribution: Egypt, Morocco.

Remarks: Roche (2007) noted Guichard’s (1980) doubts about the synonymy of T. aegyptiacus and T. maroccanus .
