Remarks. Macroglossum nycteris was recorded in Pakistan from Kund in the Hazara Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by Chaudhry et al. (1966). It ranges east from Afghanistan along the southern margin of the Himalaya, through northern Myanmar and then northeastward across China to Beijing and Shandong (Pittaway & Kitching, 2013).
