Plate 2, Fig. 30
Material examined. PAKISTAN, [Gilgit Baltistan,] Khalti Lake, Gopis, 11. vi. 2008, Anjum Shehzad.
Remarks. This species was also reported from Shogran, Kaghan Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, by Staven (2001, unpublished data). Acosmeryx naga subsp. naga ranges from the Himalayan foothills of Pakistan, India and Nepal, through eastern and southern China, to Taiwan, Korea and Japan, and southeast through Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam to Peninsular Malaysia (Pittaway & Kitching, 2013). It is replaced in eastern Afghanistan and Tajikistan by A. naga subsp. hissarica Shchetkin, 1956, which may thus also occur on the northwest border of Pakistan.
