Holotype: F (MACN-AR 41735). ARGENTINA, Entre Rios, Dept. Colón, Arroyo Palmar, Parque Nacional El Palmar, elevation 26 m, 31°53’34.80”S 58°14’18.24”O, coll. Ramírez, M.J. et al., 7.AUG.2011, ex pasture with palm trees, low riparian forest.

Paratype: Same data as holotype: 3 F (MACN-AR 28895 /5-6, OSAL 114547), 3 M (MACN-AR 28895 /1–3) .

Distribution: Entre Rios (Argentina).

Etymology: The specific name is derived from the primary collection locality, Entre Rios province, Argentina.
