Holotype: The holotype from the private collection of Carsten Gr ̂hn ( Glinde, Germany) will be deposited in the Geological–Palaeontological Institute of the University of Hamburg (GPIH, no. 4549).
Distribution: Material, locality and horizon GPIH no. 4549 (ex coll. Gr̂hn no. 11038). Burmese amber, Hukawng Valley, northern Myanmar. Upper Cretaceous (Cenomanian), around 98.79±0.62 Ma.
Etymology: After Carsten Gr̂hn, who recognized its significance and made the holotype available.
