Liberedaxia Alten, Alten and Ramey, 2009: 1; Monné and Nearns 2023: 179 (cat.).

Alten et al. (2009) described Liberedaxia, but did not inform the subtribe of the genus. Currently, Liberedaxia has been included in the two subtribes of Oemini: Oemina (Tavakilian and Chevillotte 2022; Monné and Nearns 2023); Methioidina (Bezark 2023b) . However, the eyes are finely faceted (Figures 11–14), the lower eye lobes are proportionally small (Figure 14), not reaching inferior area of the head, and the metathoracic discrimen (Figure 15) is distinct only on the posterior half. Therefore, Liberedaxia would be included in Methioidina .
