Actinostola crassicornis (Hertwig, 1882)

Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 9; St. 11; St. 13; St. 17; St. 18; St. 23; St. 30; St. 31; St. 36; St. 40 (Fig. 2B) (MLP-Oi 4205).

Distribution: Widely distributed in the southwest Atlantic Ocean including the MPA Namuncurá I/ Burdwood bank (Riemann-Zürneck, 1978). Also recorded by Carlgren (1898) in the Magellan Strait (52º07’S, 70º26’W, 274 m), by McMurrich (1904) in Calbuco (Chile) and other coastal localities of Chile (41º36 – 41º51’S, 25– 278 m) by Carlgren (1959).
