Material examined: BBB 2016: St. 35.

Distribution: Specimens are similar to C. eximia which is reported along all Argentinean Continental Shelf (Oliviera et al. 2016). This is the first record of a corynid in MPA Namuncurá I.

Remarks: The sample was a fragmented and unfertile colony detached from the substrata.
