Material examined. Xisha Islands: The Seven Connected Islets, 112°19.6’E 16°57.1’N, 10 m, coll. Shaobo Ma, Yuli Sun, Ziming Yuan, 21 May 2022, 1 female (6.16 × 5.49 mm), XS-QL-2022-1087, in Acropora hyacinthus ( Acroporidae).— Hainan Island: Hou Hai, 1.5–2 m, coll. Yuli Sun, 20 July 2022, 1 pre-adult (5.28 × 4.66 mm), XY-SY73.

Geographical distribution. It was previously found in Guam and the Ryukyus.

Remarks. This is the first time the species is recorded from China.
