Psallopsis basalis Reuter, 1904

Distribution in Iran. Hormozgan (Linnavuori 2004b), Kerman (Wagner 1958), Khorasan (Reuter 1904; Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999; Kerzhner & Josifov 1999 — lectotype from Neh-i-bendan, Duruh-Gesik). General distribution and hosts. Eremian species, known from Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Palestine and Saudi Arabia; found on Seidlitzia rosmarinus (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999) and Zygophyllum sp. (Linnavuori 2004b).

Comments. Wagner (1957) included Psallopsis nov. spec. prope basalis Reut. from Makran (Sistan & Baluchestan province); this species was apparently never described.
