Glaucopterum deserticola deserticola (Wagner, 1952)

Distribution in Iran. Khorasan (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999), Iran (no locality cited) (Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution and hosts. Eremian subspecies known from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Syria and Tunisia; living on Haloxylon sp. (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1999).

Comments. The subspecies Glaucopterum deserticola guntheri Carapezza, 2002 described from Palermo (Italy).
