Material: Male, NGK-Nimba 0071 (Fig. 12C).
Comments: Phrynobatrachus liberiensis is generally found along swamps and shallow streams in primary forests (Rödel and Branch 2002; Kouamé et al. 2018). Many males were heard calling, being well concealed sitting on the banks of a shallow stream in a swampy patch of dense forest (07°32.993’N, 008°24.753’W; 425 m asl). A male (27.0 mm) and a young female (26.0 mm) were caught.
