Holotype male seen; in good condition.

Diagnosis. (Fig.2). Postsutural dorsocentrals 3; anterior postsutural intraalar present; fore tibia with a submedian posterior seta; mid femur with 2 preapical setae; mid tibia with 1 posterior seta and without anterodorsal; hind tibia with or without a posterodorsal seta; lower katepisternal seta more or less equidistant from the other two; costal spine distinct, wing with costal margin infuscated; sternite 5 as in Fig. 41.

Terminalia. Cercal plate and surstylus as in Figs 42–43. Aedeagal complex as in Fig. 44.

Notes. Originally described with two subspecies, L. m. majuscula and L. m. kinangopana, the latter being herewith elevated to species rank (see comment under L. kinangopana). One male paratype was dissected and illustrated.
