Syntypus?: NETHERLANDS. Gelria, from Wolfheze to Doorwerth, developed in moist chambers on decaying pine wood and on the bark of oak, leg N.E. Nannenga-Bremekamp 4908F, DWM 2504 [one slide, K-M001435107], (Fig. 3B).

Notes. This species was obtained from moist chamber culture and according to Nannenga-Bremekamp (1966: 343), the holotype is in U and various isotypes were sent to BM, G, K, L, U and the private collections of C.J. Alexopoulos, D. Bramanti, B. Ing, T.E. Brooks, G.W. Martin and R. Santesson. The U herbarium is currently in the Naturalis Biodiversity Center of Leiden (Netherlands). Some of these were sent under the name C. microcarpa, of which Yamamoto (1998) considered as a variety. There is also type material in CHSC, BR and BPI.
