Craterium aureonucleatum Nann. - Bremek., Acta Bot. Neerl. 10:62 (1961)
Isotypus: NETHERLANDS: Wolfheze, on dead leaves, 8 Sep 1960, leg. N.E. Nannenga-Bremekamp 4491, DWM 522 [one box, KM001435095], (Figs. 2M‒N).
Notes. Only the name of the species and numbers NENB 4491 and DWM 522 appear on Mitchell’s box, but the following was found in his notebooks “ Craterium aureonucleatum (Part of type coll.), Netherlands, Wolfheze, dead leaves, 8.9.60 (NENB 4491, type spec.)”, so it is definitely an isotype with the exact same data as the original publication of Nannenga‒Bremekamp (1961: 63‒64). According to this publication the holotype was deposited in Utrech (U) but currently this herbarium is in the Naturalis Biodiversity Center of Leiden (Netherlands). An isotype of this collection is in BR5020056150844.
* Craterium retisporum G. Moreno, D.W. Mitch. & S.L. Stephenson, in Moreno, Mitchell, Stephenson & Cruz, Bol. Soc. Micol. Madrid 33:176 (2009)
Notes. Mitchell was one of the authors but no material was found in his collection. According to Moreno et al. (2009), the holotype from Western Australia, is in the Stephenson collection (“SLS 21807”) and a slide in AH 37792. In the original publication, a collection of Mitchell’s (DWM 7405), from the Philippines is mentioned, of which a slide is kept in AH 37788, but we did not find this either.
