Isotypus: USA. California, Lassen Co., State Highway 139, 11 miles N of Susanville, on bark of Juniperus occidentalis in moist chamber, 16 Jul 1977, leg. K.D. Whitney 657, DWM 3771 [one slide, K-M001435036], (Fig. 4D).

Paratypus: USA. California, Lassen Co., 0.5 miles NE of Eagle Lake Field Station, on bark of Juniperus occidentalis in moist chamber, 18 Jul 1977, leg. K.D. Whitney 665, DWM 3651 [one slide, K-M001435034], (Fig. 4D).

Notes. Two slides, an isotype and a paratype, of this minute species are in the Mitchell collection. The holotype is in BPI 819062, and there are two isotypes in BPI 819056 and NY 00834478.

Paratypus: AUSTRALIA. Tasmania, Cole’s Bay, near Bicheno, culture of Paper Bark Gum, 13 Mar 1975, leg. D.W. Mitchell, DWM 1863 [one slide, K-M001435030], (Fig. 4E).

Notes. This is one of the samples mentioned when Nannenga-Bremekamp et al. (1991: 412) described the species. There is another slide of the same collection deposited in Nannenga Bremekamp’s collection no. 9343. The species is currently considered (Pando 1997) to be a synonym of E. apitectum K.D. Whitney.

Notes. The material in Mitchell’s collection is a fragment of the holotype conserved in BR5020057700826.
