Notes. In spite of the fact that Mitchell is a co-author of this species, we did not find specimens in his collection. The holotype is in AH (AH 28531) as well as various paratypes. In the recently published study of the genus Licea by Wrigley de Basanta & Lado (2023), more data and illustrations of the holotype are provided.
