Habitat: Small streams to rivers.

Distribution: British Isles including the Orkney Isles, Central and South Europe to Bulgaria and Turkey.

Records from Turkey: Erzincan Province (Esen et al. 2013a).

Habitat: Streams, also with temporary surface flow.

Distribution: Spain (Canary Islands), Italy, Iran, Algeria and Turkey.
