Santinezia hermosa Pinto-da-Rocha & Kury, 2003: 186, figs. 13–18 (male holotype, “ Peru, Loreto, Alto rio Samiria, MUSM”, not examined).

Diagnosis. See Pinto-da-Rocha & Kury (2003: 186). Live specimens in Fig. 13 (A = male, B = female). Remark. Males collected in the same locality on the same day show incredible variation in the size of the ventral spur on coxa IV, from tubercle-sized, as wide as long, to being five times longer than basal width. Material examined. Ecuador. Napo, Archidona Rio Holin (Sacha Wagra Lodge), 0°57’S, 77°41”W, elevation 752m, 5 males, 5 females (MZSP).
