Phareicranaus albigyratus Roewer, 1932: 303 (female holotype, “ Colombia, Cundinamarca, Bogotá, SMF-1455/8”, examined); Kury 2003: 96.

Note. Phareicranaus albigyratus is a female of Phareicranaus by having a large dorsoapical spine and dorsal, ventral, and lateral rows of tubercles on the pedipalp. It is very similar to P. singularis (H. Soares) and P. angelicus (Roewer), differing by having one additional tubercle, rounded by white, on area II, and by the presence of a dorsal large spine on trochanter IV, both absent in P. singularis . However, the true identity of this species will be clarified only with the finding of the male.
