Range. This species has been reported from seven counties in Virginia (Holsinger & Culver 1988; Lewis 2009). Similar to C. pricei, this species has dispersed from the Appalachians into the Piedmont. The relatively wide range of this species is probably related to its ability to disperse through non-cave groundwaters.
